Stompsters Review

So Isaac from DIY Pedalboard [dot] org sent me a sample of his new product, Stompsters. He asked if I could do an honest review on it since He really never tried the product on Line6 POD pedals.I’ll be honest with you, I really hate velcro. It’s weak and terribly sticky and gooey when you remove the velcro strip. It leaves your pedals messy and sometimes even pull the paint off your pedal!

With Stompsters there’s no mess and it’s easy to install.

Here are some pictures of it on my JHS Double Barrel:

And here I improvised a bit and used Stompsters on my Line6 POD X3 Live:

To get Stompsters to work on my POD X3 I simply unscrewed the screws at the back of the device (had to use a hex key), installed the stompster, then using a pair of plyers I bent the bracket to make a 90 degree angle. I used the 1/2″ screws that came with the box of Stompsters to secure the POD X3 to my board.

Securing your pedal to your board is very important, it will prevent breakage in your patch cables and any unnecessary noise that could stem from any movement of your pedal.
